Simple. Only two materials needed. Tape and balls. For older toddlers, they can play this by shooting the balls. For younger toddlers like Kaira, who still can’t throw things correctly, she just stick the balls directly to the tape. She loves it and I love watching it.
I put the basket of balls a meter away for Kaira walks.
Then she sticks the balls. She also took off all the balls and repeated sticking the balls again from the beginning.
By the end, she took off all the balls again and now she took the pompoms and stick them to the tape!
I think this activity is good for her gross motoric and color recognition. We’ll keep playing this again until by the time she can shoot later.
